Aakash Bakrania

Aakash Bakrania currently serves as Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Development at RAKBANK since September 2025. Prior to this role, Aakash was a Principal at the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan from June 2023 to September 2025, and held various positions at Bain & Company, including Senior Manager, Manager, and Consultant from March 2017 to June 2023. Aakash began a career in finance at J.P. Morgan, where positions included Associate and Analyst from August 2013 to March 2017, as well as internships at J.P. Morgan Cazenove and PwC. Earlier experience includes roles at Kumon Educational UK and GE Money, alongside a foundational work shadowing experience with Lloyds TSB Bank plc. Aakash holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BSc (Hons) in Economics from University College London.
