Jason Dearden

Jason Dearden has a strong background in the hobby and distribution industry. Jason started their career in 1987 as a Development Assistant at DG Controls. Jason then moved on to BTR Silvertown Ltd, where they worked as a Departmental Manager for Specialist Products. In 1992, they joined Aerovac Systems Limited as a Technical Sales Engineer for Consumables. Jason continued to work in technical sales at Corally BV and Aerovac Systems Ltd before founding and serving as the Managing Director of Hobby Products International Europe Ltd in 1998. After a successful 10 years at HPI Europe, Dearden became the Owner of Radio Control Distribution Company Ltd in 2004. Their most recent role is as the Managing Director of Horizon Hobby, where they have been since 2009. Throughout their career, Dearden has played a key role in product development, distribution, and brand building in the hobby industry.

Jason Dearden has a diverse education history. Jason attended the Sutton Coldfield College of Higher Education, where they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and Management, General. Jason also obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from the University of Derby. Prior to their higher education, they attended Burton Technical College, where they obtained an HNC in Mechanical Engineering. Jason started their education at Ashby Grammar School, where they completed their O-Levels and A Levels. During this time, they studied subjects such as Maths, English, Physics, Design, Economics, Woodwork, General Studies, and Computer science.
