Dave Spicer has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Dave began their career as an Attorney and General Partner/Equity Owner at Malone Galvin Spicer law offices, where they represented clients in various areas of civil litigation and gained experience managing HR issues and running a business. After leaving the legal profession, they joined Agros International as a Major Gifts Officer, where they raised substantial funds during the Great Recession by cultivating major gifts from individuals and family foundations. Most recently, Dave served as the Philanthropy Director for Horizon House, retiring in June 2019. In this role, they were responsible for cultivating gifts from major donors, foundations, and corporations, initiating a planned giving program, and fostering collaborative relationships with other non-profits and the business sector.
Dave Spicer attended Dartmouth College from 1971 to 1975, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Environmental Studies. Afterward, they pursued further education at Lewis and Clark Northwestern School of Law from 1977 to 1980, earning a Law Degree with a general study of law.
