Darryl Monasebian has a diverse and extensive work experience in the finance industry. Darryl is currently serving as the Senior Portfolio Manager for Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) Investments at Horizon Kinetics LLC since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Oxford Funds, LLC for over 17 years, where they held the position of Executive Vice President and Head of Risk and Portfolio Management. Darryl also has experience working with BNP Paribas, UBS (formerly Swiss Bank Corporation), Citibank, and Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, where they held various roles in credit portfolio management and investment analysis.
Darryl Monasebian holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University. Darryl completed their MBA between 1984 and 1986, with a focus on General Management and a concentration in Finance. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Case Western Reserve University from 1980 to 1984. Their undergraduate studies were centered around Management Science, with a concentration in Operations Research.

We are an independently owned and operated investment boutique that adheres to a long-term, contrarian, fundamental value investment philosophy that the founders established 26 years ago at Bankers Trust Company. Horizon Kinetics has over 70 employees and has primary offices in New York City, White Plains, NY and Summit, NJ.
