Emma Cunningham is a dedicated professional in the field of health and wellbeing, currently serving as Community Health and Wellbeing Manager at Horizon Leisure Centres since July 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Health and Wellbeing Manager at BH Live, where responsibilities encompassed managing health and wellbeing programmes across six leisure sites in Portsmouth, and as Health and Fitness Manager at Parkwood Leisure, where oversight of the 'steps to health' exercise referral scheme was a key duty. Emma holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Exercise from the University of Portsmouth and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Science and Physical Education and Sport from St Mary’s University, Twickenham.

Horizon Leisure Centres are a not-for-profit organisation that operates both Havant and Waterlooville Leisure Centres. Both of our Leisure Centres are dedicated to providing a wide range of sporting and leisure facilities and activities for everyone. The Leisure Centres are the borough’s premier and largest leisure facilities with annual visitors having topped the 1.7 million mark in 2017. Horizon Waterlooville Gym won Gym of the Year 2016 and Havant Gym won Gym of the Year 2015 and 2017 both voted for by the public in The News. Horizon Leisure Centres are proud to be also accredited with the prestigious Quest Award.
