Cam Hutchins has an extensive work experience in the field of copywriting and communications. Cam began their career as a Senior Copywriter at Modem Media in 2000, where they worked until 2002. Cam then joined Euro RSCG Circle as a Senior Copywriter for a year. In 2003, they moved to Arc Worldwide as an Executive Copywriter, where they worked on promotional programs for various clients including Kellogg, Cadillac, Tylenol, Diageo, and new business development. In 2006, Cam Hutchins joined Digitas / Modem Media as a Senior Copywriter for a brief period, before moving to Ogilvy as a Freelance Copywriter in 2007. From 2008 to 2015, they worked as a Freelance Copywriter for multiple agencies including Story Worldwide and Colangelo Synergy Marketing. In 2010, they joined Ryan Partnership as a Freelance Copywriter, where they created content for websites, promotional microsites, banners, emails, and POS for clients such as Unilever, Hellmann's, Dole, and makinglifebetter.com. In 2014, Cam Hutchins worked as a Freelance Senior Copywriter at Catapult Marketing, before moving to Horizons National in 2015. At Horizons National, they initially worked as a Senior Writer and later transitioned into the role of Senior Director of Communications in 2020.
Cam Hutchins attended New Canaan High School from 1973 to 1977. Cam then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies at Amherst College from 1977 to 1981. After completing their undergraduate studies, Cam Hutchins furthered their education at the University of Pennsylvania, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Communication from 1983 to 1985.
