Nandish Thakore

Nandish Thakore has a diverse work experience in various roles related to business intelligence and data analysis. Nandish started their career at Orange Technolab Pvt. Ltd as a Project Intern, where they built a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System and designed a normalized database schema. Nandish then worked as a Software Engineer at Marsden & Moore Technologies Pvt. Ltd, where they drafted the Software Requirement Specification (SRS) document and designed a database schema for a Customer Relationship Management Lite project. Nandish later joined New York University as a Data Analyst, where they assisted in planning and designing data models for various NYU Global institutions, performed data extraction and transformation processes, and analyzed large datasets using SQL queries.

After that, Nandish joined IPG Mediabrands as a Business Intelligence Engineer and later as a Senior Data Warehouse Engineer. In these roles, they gathered business requirements from brand managers, manipulated multiple data sources, processed raw data using Python with Panda, and designed and maintained data warehouses using SQL Server and related tools like SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.

Currently, Nandish is working at Horizon Next as the Director of Business Intelligence. Prior to this, they held roles such as Associate Director and Manager in the same department. In these positions, they managed the BI team, ensured data integrity when importing from source systems, collaborated with clients to understand business questions and challenges, and guided decision-making through data analysis.

Nandish Thakore completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Information Technology from Gujarat Technological University, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from New York University, from 2013 to 2015.
