Daniela Mattheys

Daniela Mattheys serves as the Head of Corporate Affairs and Stakeholder Relations at Horizon Power since March 2024. Previously, Daniela held multiple roles at the Department of the Premier and Cabinet of Western Australia, including Principal Policy Advisor to the Deputy Premier and the Minister for Regional Development, focusing on state development, hydrogen, and energy transition. Daniela's experience also includes serving as Strategy Advisor at Airscope Industries, Managing Director of Edoceo Futures Pty Ltd, and Executive Director of Industry and Innovation at the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation, where strategic oversight encompassed various sectors including digital economy and local industry participation. Daniela's career began as a Trade and Investment Strategy Consultant at Africa House South Africa. Daniela holds a Master of Arts in International Political Economics from the University of Johannesburg.
