Laya Yamout

Laya Yamout is a dedicated healthcare professional with extensive experience in nursing and project management within non-profit organizations. Currently serving as Horizons International Field Staff since July 2022, Laya previously worked as a Registered Nurse at the American University of Beirut Medical Center from September 2019 to August 2023. Additionally, Laya has managed a non-profit clinic in Tyre, Lebanon, from January 2016 through August 2023, organizing medical teams and community health initiatives. Earlier roles include an internship with Horizons International focusing on medical outreach in Tyre, a position as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, and experience as a Resident Assistant and Student Athletic Trainer during studies at Hannibal LaGrange University. Laya holds a second degree in Nursing from the American University of Beirut and two Bachelor's degrees in Biology from Hannibal LaGrange University. Future aspirations include pursuing a Master's degree in Midwifery.
