Erik Petersen has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Erik began their career as a Summer Analyst at Morgan Stanley in 2013, where they gained experience in equity research analysis. Afterward, they worked as an Analyst/Controller at Yampa Valley Bank, performing various financial functions for the institution. During their tenure, the bank's size roughly doubled. In 2020, Erik joined Phoenix as an Analyst, specializing in portfolio valuation and analytics of various financial assets. The portfolio under their responsibility was valued at approximately $500 billion annually. Currently, Erik holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at Horizons Specialized Services, starting in 2022.
Erik Petersen attended Georgetown University from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service (BSFS) with a focus on International Economics. Erik also holds the certification of Level III CFA Candidate from the CFA Institute.
