Donald Thurman

Donald Thurman is an experienced IT Manager with a strong background in technology and management across multiple industries. Currently with HORNE since January 2022, Donald focuses on merging technology with construction while collaborating with industry professionals. Previously, at Ivey Mechanical Company from 2015 to 2022, Donald managed IT operations, supervised the deployment of cybersecurity strategies, and served as the firm’s administrator for CRM software. Prior experience includes serving as Bureau Chief at the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality, where Donald oversaw regulatory applications, and as Chief Information Officer at the Mississippi Development Authority, responsible for all IT functions and developing the state's first website. Donald holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Delta State University.
