Joe Zdankiewicz

Joe Zdankiewicz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and transportation planning. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Horner & Shifrin, Inc. since January 2023 and as a Project Manager at CLARIDA & ZIEGLER ENGINEERING CO since August 2021, Joe has previously held the role of Director of Transportation Planning at the Southern Illinois Metropolitan Planning Organization from July 2015 to January 2022. Joe's career spans over three decades at the Illinois Department of Transportation, where responsibilities included Studies & Plans Engineer in District 9 and Studies and Plans Engineer. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geotechnical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology, where coursework was completed from 1983 to 1985.
