Maasa Muelhaupt

Maasa Muelhaupt is a multidisciplinary creative professional with extensive experience in animation, storyboarding, and design. Currently serving as the Owner of YOROZU by AZURE and BooJay Studios, LLC since May 2022, Muelhaupt also freelances as a Storyboard Artist for Sesame Workshop and has worked as a Storyboard Artist and Animator at Titmouse since May 2013. Muelhaupt holds a lead position at Hornet Inc., contributing as an Animator, Storyboard Artist, Background Artist, and Character Designer for various high-profile clients. Previous roles include ownership of AZURE KNITS+, specializing in handmade design, and multiple freelance animation and storyboarding positions with notable organizations such as Aardman Nathan Love and Floyd County Productions. Muelhaupt earned a BFA in Design & Technology from Parsons School of Design from 2001 to 2005.
