Lynn Strickland currently serves as the Assistant Impact Fee Coordinator in Planning & Zoning for Horry County Government since May 2023, following a role as a Permit Technician in Code Enforcement. Previous experience includes positions at Horry County Schools as a High School Registrar and Data Quality Clerk, and E911 Telecommunicator/Dispatcher for Horry County Government. Lynn has also worked as a Police Officer with Horry County Police Department and spent over 18 years in various educational roles at Horry County Schools. Additional experience includes managing The Aynor News and holding administrative and communication positions in disaster relief and digital marketing. Lynn is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Management at American Military University and has completed an Associate's degree in General Studies, as well as a Certificate for Class 1 Law Enforcement Officer from the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy.
