Robert Floyd is a seasoned cybersecurity expert with significant experience in both government and private sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer for Horry County Government since May 2019, Robert leads a highly regarded cybersecurity program, focusing on the design and implementation of strategies that ensure compliance with essential regulations such as CJIS, PCI, HIPAA, and FTI. Prior to this role, Robert founded Interactive Data Systems, where as Chief Technology Officer, the individual developed enterprise IT and cybersecurity solutions for healthcare and government clients in Virginia and Pennsylvania. Robert holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master’s in Management of Information Technology from the University of Virginia, a Master’s in Executive Leadership from Liberty University, and a PgC in Executive Data Science from The Johns Hopkins University, along with a Bachelor's in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland.
