Omar Asbun

Omar Asbun is a Mechanical Engineer currently employed at Horsburgh & Scott since February 2023. Previously, Omar held roles as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern and Mechanical Engineering Intern at Efficient Machine Products® Corp. from August 2021 to February 2023. Omar's experience also includes an Engineering Internship with Hendrickson, where skills in Teamcenter and Creo software were applied, and a Research Assistant role at The University of Akron focusing on rubber aging and tire durability. Additional experience includes an undergraduate research position at NASA's L'SPACE Academy, as well as leading engineering projects related to aerodynamics during capstone assignments. Omar holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Akron and a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington.
