Prior to this role, Derek spent nearly eleven years at Signal 88 Security Franchise Group, where positions included Director of Strategic Relationships, Strategic Partnerships Manager, Strategic Accounts Manager, and Regional Manager, overseeing the growth of 25 franchise locations in Omaha, Nebraska. Earlier in their career, Derek worked as a Claims Examiner at FirstComp, managing and settling indemnity workers compensation claims. Derek holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Financial Consulting from the SMU Cox School of Business, obtained between 1999 and 2003.
