Horseracing Integrity & Welfare Unit (HIWU)
Marcy Parker currently serves as the Director of Results Administration and Operations at the Horseracing Integrity & Welfare Unit (HIWU) since November 2022, with prior roles including HIWU Testing Operations Senior Manager and Regional Relations Manager. Marcy has extensive experience in the real estate sector as a Real Estate Agent at RE/MAX from January 2020 to September 2023. Additional roles include Program Manager at Drug Free Sport International and at The National Center for Drug Free Sport, Inc. Previous positions also include Implementation Specialist at Uhlig and various roles at Avila University, including Assistant Soccer Coach and Transfer Admissions Representative. Marcy holds a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Creighton University and a Master's degree in Organizational Development from Avila University. Since February 2014, Marcy has also been a dedicated Stay at Home Mom.

The Horseracing Integrity & Welfare Unit (HIWU), a division of Drug Free Sport International, was created to serve as the independent enforcement agency of the Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority's (HISA) Anti-Doping and Medication Control program. The HIWU will establish a comprehensive and robust program that includes uniform testing protocols, adjudication processes and enforcement mechanisms to increase accountability and enhance the integrity of the competition for participants, fans and bettors.
