Stephanie Jenson has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Stephanie'smost recent role was as Director of Education at the Horseracing Integrity & Welfare Unit (HIWU) starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked for the State of Minnesota for 10 years, where they held various positions such as Senior Program, Project & Field Safety Coordinator, Compliance Administrator, and Law Compliance Rep. 1. In these roles, Stephanie was responsible for managing information technology functions, ensuring compliance with policies and legal requirements, leading special projects, and providing professional consultation and support for all Minnesota Racing Commission functions. Before joining the State of Minnesota, Stephanie worked as a Security Officer at Running Aces Harness Park in 2012 and as a MN Scams Assistant at the Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement Division in 2010.
Stephanie Jenson has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from St. Cloud State University, which they obtained in 2009. Stephanie then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Criminal Justice Studies from the same university, completing it in 2010. Stephanie has also obtained several certifications, including being an AKC Approved Evaluator since August 2021 and a Love on a Leash Therapy Dog Handler since May 2022. Additionally, they hold certifications as a Fetch Judge from the American Kennel Club and as a Farm Dog Certified Judge, Harness Judge - Level 3, and UKC Approved SPOT Evaluator from various institutions, all obtained in 2022 and 2023.
