Bianca Cairns

Bianca Cairns is a dedicated professional in agricultural research and development, currently serving as a member of the Australian Agricultural Traceability Data Standards Working Group since September 2023. With extensive experience at Hort Innovation since January 2016 as R&D Manager for Product Integrity, Supply Chain, Training, and Leadership, Bianca plays a vital role in advancing Australia's horticulture industry. Previous roles include membership on the Strategy Advisory Panel to the Food Agribusiness Network Board and involvement with the Australian Government Leadership Network and AusIndustry, where responsibilities encompassed managing R&D tax incentives. Bianca’s earlier career includes significant contributions at the Sugar Research and Development Corporation and BSES Limited, focusing on R&D investment and business development. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Research Management and Commercialisation from Queensland University of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from The University of Queensland, among other qualifications.
