Heather Newcomb is a seasoned operations leader with extensive experience in personnel management, team development, and compliance across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Operations at Horwitz, Horwitz & Associates since November 2021, Heather oversees day-to-day personnel matters, recruits talent, and fosters employee engagement while managing projects and initiatives. As the Founder and Managing Partner of Partners First from January 2021 to December 2022, Heather created partnerships focusing on workplace training and team-driven cultures. Previously, in various roles at the Chicago Better Business Bureau from 2012 to 2020, including Director of Operations, Heather led personnel initiatives and successfully adapted operations during the transition to remote work. With a background in animal care management at PAWS Chicago and previous supervisory roles at FDIC/Silver State Bank, Heather has cultivated strong operational skills and team leadership capabilities throughout their career.
