Irina P. is an accomplished individual with extensive experience in leadership, research, and education. As Vice President of the Juvenile Diabetes Camp for Rotaract, Irina successfully planned and coordinated a three-day camp for families affected by type 1 diabetes, managing funding and various sub-committees. In the CoNCH Lab, Irina contributed as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, conducting studies on implied causality and speech perception, and modifying experimental scripts. Irina also served as a Forensic Medicine and Veterinary Science Educator for HOSA Canada, preparing students for competitive events. Previous experience includes a Summer Research Student role at University Health Network, where Irina gathered clinical data on cancer studies, and independent research at Western University, focusing on genetic screening. Irina's leadership as Chapter President of Ontario DECA led to significant team achievements, including multiple international qualifiers. Irina holds a Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree from Western University.
