Ruthie Zhuang

Ruthie Zhuang is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Research Assistant at Western University since May 2021, focusing on the implementation of virtual P.I. In addition to this role, Ruthie has been a National Officer and Competitive Events Planner for HOSA Canada since November 2020, coordinating major health science competitions with a large participant base. As Project Co-Director for Students For Music and Wellness, Ruthie secured multiple grants to organize concerts for Long Term Care homes. Previously, during the tenure as HOSA Trudeau President from April 2018 to April 2020, Ruthie significantly improved performance metrics in the Biomedical Laboratory Science category. Ruthie also founded the OGCS Robotics team and led an all-girls team in VEX Robotics, successfully fundraising for their initiatives. Ruthie Zhuang is pursuing a Bachelor of Medical Science at Western University, expected to graduate in 2024, following a high school diploma from Pierre Elliott Trudeau High School in 2020.
