Jo Carol Stephens has over 25 years of work experience in the healthcare industry. Jo Carol currently holds the position of Community Director, Southeast at Hosparus Health. Prior to this, Jo Carol worked at KentuckyOne Health as the Director of the Healthy Lifestyle Center from 2014 to 2017. During their time there, they developed and managed clinical services and successfully grew the market share by building relationships with referral sources. Before that, Jo Carol worked at Jewish Hospital & St. Mary's HealthCare as a Cardiac Rehab Staff and Manager for 15 years. Their responsibilities included reviewing treatment plans, developing exercise prescriptions, and establishing caring relationships with patients. Jo Carol also previously worked at Jewish Hospital Healthcare Services as a Cardiac Outcomes Manager, where they facilitated a multidisciplinary team to implement evidence-based protocols and interventions, leading to improved clinical outcomes for patients undergoing Coronary Artery Bypass surgery.

Jo Carol Stephens earned a Masters of Science in Nursing with a focus on Nursing Administration from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing between 1992 and 1994.
