Betsy King RN, BS, CHPN has a long and distinguished career in the healthcare industry. Betsy began their career in 1978 as a Registered Nurse, Trauma, Intensive Care at Louisville General Hospital. In 1985, they joined Ernst and Whinney as a Health Care Consultant and Auditing Team Member. In 1990, they moved to Jewish Hospital & St. Mary's HealthCare as a Critical Care Registered Nurse. In 2012, they joined Embracing Hospice as an Inpatient Hospice Registered Nurse. In 2014, they joined Hospi Corporation as Lead Clinical Educator and Clinical Account Manager. In their role as Clinical Account Manager, they work to improve quality of life by innovating practical, high impact medical devices that enhance patient comfort and wellbeing, ease caregiver burden, and reduce cost.

Betsy King RN, BS, CHPN obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Bellarmine University between 1982 and 1985. Betsy then obtained an Associate's Degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Midway University between 1976 and 1978. Betsy has also taken Nursing Education courses from Kennesaw State University and the University of South Dakota, with 80 classroom hours and 160 clinical hours and 120 hours respectively. Additionally, they are a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse.
