Amanda Burnett, LNFA, TxCG, GC-C has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Amanda is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Hospice Brazos Valley since 2023. Prior to this, they held positions at Senior Living Properties LLC, where they served as the Lead Vice President of Operations from July 2021 to January 2023, and as the Regional Vice President of Operations from January 2019 to January 2023. Amanda also worked at Senior Care Centers as the Division President from March 2018 to January 2019. Before that, they had a long tenure at Genesis, where they served as the Regional Vice President of Operations from May 2008 to March 2018. Amanda started their career as an Administrator at various establishments from August 2004 to May 2008.
Amanda Burnett, LNFA, TxCG, GC-C, has an education history that includes studies in Long Term Care Administration/Management at Midland College. Amanda then pursued an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in General Studies at the University of Arkansas. Hospice Brazos Valley is the only nonprofit hospice serving the Brazos Valley. We have office locations in Bryan, Brenham, and La Grange. The nonprofit difference means that patients, not profits, guide the comprehensive care our patients receive. Our bereavement professionals lead a variety of grief support groups and programs hosted across the 17 counties we serve. Thanks to generous community support, all grief support groups and programs are offered at no cost and maintain an open invitation to anyone in the communities we serve. In addition, our award-winning hospice care is provided to all, regardless of ability to pay. Our patients receive care from a team of highly-skilled professionals whose goal is to add quality to life when life is limited. Hospice Brazos Valley exists to care for people. Our wish is for anyone who encounters us to be better for the experience. Time with patients and families is filled with hope, encouragement, celebration, and service.
