Michael A. Kadel

Michael A. Kadel is the current Treasurer at By The Bay Health. Prior to their current position, Kadel served as the VP of Retail Experience at San Francisco Fire Credit Union from December 2018 to July 2021. In this role, Kadel managed all retail delivery channels, including branches, contact center, and Investment Services.

Before their time at San Francisco Fire Credit Union, Kadel was the SVP/Chief Operating Officer at Santa Clara County Federal Credit Union from August 2017 to August 2018. As COO, Kadel oversaw Marketing, Operations, Facilities, Call Center, Branch Management, and other internal business units for a thriving credit union in the South Bay area.

From January 2017 to July 2017, Kadel served as the Chief Executive Officer at Marin Economic Forum. In this role, Kadel was responsible for leading the organization in its mission to build an inclusive economy in Marin County through research, policy advocacy, and community engagement.

From August 2014 to March 2017, Kadel was the SVP/Business Center Manager at California Bank & Trust. In this role, Kadel was responsible for managing a team of bankers who provided deposit, loan, and cash management services to small- and medium-sized businesses in the Bay Area.

Kadel has extensive experience in the financial services industry and has demonstrated success in leading teams and organizations. Michael is a committed advocate for economic inclusion and empowering communities to build lasting financial security.

Michael A. Kadel has a Master's degree in Executive Management from Pacific Coast Banking School and a B.S. in Agricultural Economics from Kansas State University.
