Jody Holstein is an experienced medical social worker with a robust background in hospice care and clinical social work. Currently serving at Hospice of Central Ohio since June 2018, Jody provides comprehensive support to hospice patients and families through psychosocial assessments, grief counseling, and case management. Previous roles include medical social worker positions at Generation Hospice, where responsibilities included bereavement coordination and volunteer program development, and director of social services at Flint Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Jody's career also encompasses clinical social work roles in various settings, including individual and family counseling at The Woodlands and Kindred Rehabilitation Center. Jody holds a Master's Degree in Social Work and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from The Ohio State University.

Our patients have been the center of care since 1982 by offering personalized care and support to thousands of patients across Central Ohio. We believe that everyone should have access to end-of-life care regardless of their ability to pay, complexity of care, or severity of need. Working together, we can ensure that all eligible patients have a meaningful end-of-life experience and the opportunity to write the last chapter of their life regardless of the their disease, and pledge to provide access to our staff and programs 24 hours a day/seven days a week. Our team consists of highly dedicated and trained individuals that include physicians, registered nurses, hospice aides, social workers, chaplains, bereavement counselors and trained volunteers. These individuals formulate a specific plan of care for each of our patients and their loved ones special needs. Our patients have the opportunity to receive quality, compassionate care at home, in a skilled nursing facility, assisted living facility, hospitals, our Inpatient Care Center, or anywhere the patient calls home. Hospice of Central Ohio is Medicare/Medicaid certified and is covered by most insurance companies/carriers.
