Jamie Cockerel

Jamie Cockerel has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles.

They began their career at Crowe Horwath LLP as an Audit Senior Associate, where they audited financial institutions, prepared financial statements, and supervised a team.

In 2005, they joined Summit Pointe as the Director of Business Systems, responsible for managing the accounting department and providing financial analysis.

They then moved on to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan, where they held two roles. First, as an Accounting Supervisor, they supervised the day-to-day accounting activities and ensured regulatory compliance. Later, they became the Chief Financial Officer, leading the financial operations of the organization, including budgeting, financial reporting, and strategic initiatives.

Currently, Jamie Cockerel holds the position of AVP Finance at Hospice of Michigan, starting in 2022.

Jamie Cockerel holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Western Michigan University and a Master's degree in Accounting from Indiana University South Bend.
