Kolmi Majumdar

Kolmi Majumdar is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, mental health, and environmental stewardship. Currently serving as a Teaching Assistant at Pacifica Graduate Institute since September 2022 and as a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at Hospice of Santa Barbara, Inc. since March 2020, Kolmi also plays an integral role as an Administrator at Wild Roots Forest School, which fosters connection with nature for young children. As a Co-Founder of the Academy of Forest Kindergarten Teachers, Kolmi promotes experiential training for early childhood educators focused on nature connection. Additionally, Kolmi co-founded and directed programs at Quail Springs Permaculture, emphasizing holistic land stewardship and community education. Previous roles include Youth Mentor and Trainer at Wilderness Youth Project and Public Information Specialist at Community Environmental Council. Kolmi holds a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
