Liz Lacasto

Liz LaCasto is a skilled bereavement counselor and clinical supervisor at Hospice of Santa Barbara, Inc., with a focus on providing grief support to individuals, families, and couples since September 2018. In addition to facilitating a Pet Loss Support Group, Liz oversees the clinical supervision of Associate Marriage and Family Therapists and Trainees. Since September 2017, Liz has been self-employed as a Marriage and Family Therapist, emphasizing a supportive and individualized approach, specializing in grief and life transitions. Previously, Liz served as Manager of Professional Services at Yardi Systems, Inc., from November 2003 to September 2018, where responsibilities included managing a small operations team and conducting data analysis for a department of approximately 400 employees. Liz holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Santa Barbara and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from UC Santa Barbara.
