Gloria Reed has a diverse work experience in healthcare. Gloria began their career in 2009 as the Director of Clinical Quality at Mahaska Health Partnership, where they worked until 2015. Gloria then became the Director of Nursing Projects at the same organization, a position they held until 2016. In 2016, Gloria joined Hospice of Santa Cruz County as the Director of Patient Services and Quality. Gloria later advanced to the role of Chief Clinical Officer in January 2019. As the county’s leading nonprofit provider of hospice care, the hospice program is enriched by community grief support, a children’s bereavement camp, transitional care and palliative care services, pet companion and music therapy programs, hospice care for veterans, and end-of-life education and outreach. Approximately 3,500 Santa Cruz County residents are served annually.
