Stephanie Dodds, MSW has a diverse range of work experience. Stephanie started their career as an English Language Arts Teacher at Ceiba College Preparatory Academy in 2012. Stephanie then worked as a Wraparound Services Support Counselor at Seneca Family of Agencies from 2014 to 2015, providing clinical services to foster and probation youth with mental health illnesses. Stephanie then served as a Clinical Intern - Case Manager at Anchor House, where they facilitated life skills and anger management groups for homeless youth and conducted counseling sessions on family reunification. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as an MSW Management and Policy Intern - Case Manager at Nationalities Service Center, where they provided case management services for resettling refugees and conducted informational sessions on the refugee adjustment experience. Stephanie then worked as a Family and Child Clinician II at Frontier Behavioral Health from 2017 to 2019, providing mental health counseling and case management services to adolescents and young adults. In 2019, they joined 2U as a Sr. Student Success Advisor, responsible for student retention and credit goals for the University of Southern California's Master of Arts in Teaching and School Counseling programs. Currently, Stephanie is working as a Medical Social Worker at Hospice of Santa Cruz County.
Stephanie Dodds, MSW, earned a Masters of Social Work degree from Rutgers University from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2010 to 2012. In 2011, Stephanie Dodds also briefly studied at the University of Ghana. Additionally, Stephanie holds certifications in Global Social Work Emphasis and Violence Against Women and Children from Rutgers School of Social Work.
