Elaine Matzenbacher

Working her entire career in not-for-profit healthcare, it was a natural fit for Elaine, an Eastern Illinois University graduate, to join Hospice of Southern Illinois’ mission. She added, “Joining Hospice of Southern Illinois’ team is an opportunity to be part of a passionate organization that is committed to excellence.” Elaine’s favorite quote, “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel,” by Maya Angelou explains how she will be a good steward of the organization’s dollars, while keeping the best interest of patients and families in mind.
