Rachel Sherman

Rachel Sherman, DNP, CRNP, FNP-BC, ACHPN, currently serves as an Appointed Member of the Maryland Board of Nursing and is the Director of Nursing and Clinical Advocacy at Hospice of the Chesapeake. With extensive experience in various nursing roles, Rachel has held positions such as Director of Medical Services and Hospice and Palliative Nurse Practitioner at Hospice of the Chesapeake, as well as Owner and Family Nurse Practitioner at Maryland Concierge Primary Care, LLC, specializing in concierge adult primary care services. Previous roles include Housecalls Nurse Practitioner for UnitedHealth Group, PRN PACU Resource Nurse at Sibley Memorial Hospital, and Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner at Calvert Hospice. Rachel holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University and is pursuing a PhD in Palliative Care at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
