Scott Oliver is the current Director of Finance at Hospice of the Chesapeake. Scott has over 25 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a focus on IT finance. Prior to their current role, Scott was the Director of IT Finance at Maxim Healthcare Services, where they implemented a monthly budget and financial reporting process for an IT budget of $30 million. Scott also consolidated all IT procurement and led all technology-related negotiations. Scott has also worked as an independent consultant, FP&A Lead, and CFO for various companies. In their most recent role as Senior Finance Manager - IT at Allegis Group, they forecasted revenue on a weekly basis and was extensively involved in month-end close, revenue forecasting, and variance analysis.
Scott Oliver graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in accounting. Scott then became a certified public accountant (CPA) through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
