Ruth Alvarez

Ruth Alvarez is an experienced Human Resources professional with a strong background in employee relations, benefits management, and HR operations across various industries. Currently serving as the Human Resources Manager at Hospice of the North Coast since June 2023, Ruth previously held the same title at Hygiena, where expertise was provided in managing employee relations globally. Prior roles include Human Resources Training Manager at Dairy Farmers of America, focusing on team development and continuous improvement initiatives, and Corporate Benefits Administrator overseeing benefits for 6,000 employees. Ruth began a career in HR as an Assistant at PAYCO FOODS CORP and progressed to HR Supervisor at GMD Airline Services, where skills in payroll and HR generalist functions were developed. Ruth holds a Master of Arts in Labor and Industrial Relations and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice/Safety Studies from Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico.
