Mindy Shah

Mindy Shah, MD HMDC FAAHPM, currently serves as a Hospice Physician at Hospice of the Red River Valley since August 2023. Mindy also works as a Certified Listener Poet for The Good Listening Project, starting in January 2022. Previous experience includes leadership roles such as Market Medical Director at Optum and Associate Medical Director at Prospero Health between May 2022 and June 2023. Mindy practiced as a Hospice and Palliative Physician at Agrace from September 2015 to April 2022, and held positions as Associate Medical Director at Visiting Nurse Service of Rochester and Geriatrician at Monroe Community Hospital from June 2012 to July 2015. Prior experience includes serving as a Palliative Medicine Physician at Unity Hospital from July 2008 to June 2012 and at the University of Rochester Medical Center from July 2006 to June 2008. Education includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University.
