Miles Hobson has a wealth of experience in marketing, communications, and sales. Miles began their career in 2008 as a Sales/Admin Office Worker at Northside Truck & Van, a Mercedes-Benz dealership. During this time, they completed stock takes, contacted customers, and sold to members of the public. Miles also attended a customer service course. In 2012, they took on the role of Marketing Director at Aston Economics Society, where they built awareness of the newly formed society and created a recognisable brand for events and communications. Miles also designed and built a website for the society. Later that year, they began working for The Chat Shop as a Live Chat Agent and Consultant, and in 2014 they were promoted to Inbound Sales Development Executive. In 2015, they became the Content Marketing Executive at The Chat Shop, where they learnt the fundamentals of marketing. In 2016, they joined FairFX as a Marketing Manager, where they were responsible for creating and managing marketing campaigns for B2B and B2C, focusing on lead generation, customer acquisition, and retention. In 2019, they joined Tucows as a Senior Marketing Manager for Ting Mobile, where they were responsible for achieving traffic and new customer KPIs. In 2022, they began working for Wavelo as a Marketing Director, Partnerships and Communications, where they were responsible for creating the communications and partner strategy as the brand's Go-to-Market plan was developed. Miles also began working for Hospitable.com as Head of Marketing, where they were responsible for automating communication with guests from the first inquiry to the final review.

Miles Hobson has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Economics and Management with Integrated Industrial Placement from Aston Business School. Miles also completed a Study Placement in Economics and Marketing at Brock University, and attended York College, York UK. Hobson has also obtained several certifications, including an edX Verified Certificate for Marketing Analytics: Price and Promotion Analytics in September 2021, a Measure and Optimize Social Media Marketing Campaigns certification from Coursera in May 2021, an edX Verified Certificate for Marketing Analytics: Marketing Measurement Strategy in January 2021, a Verified International Academic Qualifications certification from World Education Services in March 2020, a Gamification - University of Pennsylvania certification from Coursera in October 2019, an Advanced Google Analytics certification from Google in September 2019, and a Google Analytics for Beginners certification from Google in September 2019.
