Ramon Gimeno

Ramon Gimeno is an accomplished Immunology Consultant at Hospital del Mar- Parc de Salut MAR since 2011, specializing in immunopathology and the optimization of treatment for chronic inflammatory diseases such as urticaria, asthma, and inflammatory bowel disease. Prior to this role, Ramon served as a Group Leader at VHIR Vall d’Hebron Institut de Recerca from 2005 to 2011, where efforts focused on developing antiviral immunotherapy techniques and enhancing lymphoid development from umbilical cord blood hematopoietic progenitors. Additionally, from 2002 to 2005, Ramon worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Academic Medical Center, contributing to the development of a human hematopoietic system in immunodeficient mice. Ramon Gimeno holds a Licenciado degree in Medicina y Cirugia from the University of Valencia, obtained between 1985 and 2001.
