Helena Gil Buitrago

Helena Gil Buitrago is a Junior Researcher at the Instituto Hospital del Mar de Investigaciones Médicas (IMIM) since October 2023, following experience as a Research Assistant focused on neuroimaging and neuroscience at the Institut de Neurociències UAB from October 2022 to July 2023, where research centered on chronic ICSS treatment in Alzheimer’s disease models. Prior to that, Helena contributed as a Research Assistant in biopsychology at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona from October 2021 to June 2022. Helena holds an MSc in Neuroscience from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (September 2022 - June 2023) and a BS in Psychology with a focus on biopsychology and clinical psychology from the same institution (2018 - 2022).
