John Faison

John Faison, MA, CSCS, currently serves as General Manager and Movement Specialist at Plus One, an Optum Company, and as a Sports Safety Program Educator at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Prior to his current roles, John worked as an Exercise Physiologist in a self-employed capacity and held positions including Fitness Manager at Equinox and Fitness Director at The L Trainer, where responsibilities included supervising fitness staff and assessing client conditioning. John also has experience in education, having served as a Special Education Teacher for the NYC Department of Education and as an Adjunct Lecturer at Lehman College. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Applied Exercise Physiology from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature from New York University.
