Kate Purnell

Kate Purnell is an experienced healthcare executive currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Chief Access & Patient Experience Officer at the Hospital for Special Surgery since June 2017. Previously, Kate held various leadership roles at the same institution, including Senior Vice President and Chief of Staff, as well as Vice President of Service Lines. Prior to joining the Hospital for Special Surgery, Kate worked as an Engagement Manager and Consultant at The Chartis Group. Educational credentials include an MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, a Master of Public Health from The Dartmouth Institute, and a BA in Economics-Political Science from Columbia University.
