Heather Melton

Heather Melton is an experienced professional in the fields of social work and therapy. Currently, Heather serves as the Owner and Therapist at Melton Professional Therapy Practice, a role assumed in May 2023, alongside the position of Medical Social Worker at Horizon Health since January 2023. Previously, Heather held the position of Assistant Clinical Director and Mental Health Therapist at the Human Resources Center of Edgar and Clark Counties from January 2009 to July 2021, focusing on children and adolescents, and also served as a Prevention Coordinator. Heather holds a Master of Social Work degree from DePaul University (2006-2008) and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (2002-2006).
