Shabnam Zarei

Shabnam Zarei is a highly experienced staff pathologist currently working at Hospital Pathology Associates, P.A. since August 2023 and serving as an Advanced Specialty Trainee in Gynecologic Pathology at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine since July 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a pathologist at University Hospitals from June 2020 to July 2022, and as a Gynecologic and Breast Pathology Fellow at Cleveland Clinic from July 2018 to September 2019. Shabnam also completed a Molecular Genetic Pathology Fellowship and a Surgical Pathology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic School of Medicine between July 2016 and June 2018. Academic background includes a residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine (2014-2016), education at the University of Minnesota (2012-2014), and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences (1996-2004).
