Dr Premila Thevi Gobalakrishnan

Dr. Premila Thevi Gobalakrishnan has extensive experience in the field of public health and occupational safety, currently serving as the Head of Public Health Department and Occupational Safety & Health Department at the Ministry of Health, Malaysia since December 2015. Previously, Dr. Gobalakrishnan was engaged in a medical officer role and completed a housemanship at the same ministry from August 2011 to January 2014. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Occupational Medicine from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) and a LIM in Sea Medicine, Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Harvard Medical School in 2021-2022.
