Dennis Deruelle

Dennis Deruelle, MD, FHM, is the CEO and Founder of Hospitalist Information Partners, Inc., a consulting firm dedicated to enhancing hospital systems through value-based care and innovative healthcare IT solutions since 2009. In 2024, Dennis will serve as Chief Medical Officer at Mendota Health, focusing on advanced wound care interventions. Previously, from 2018 to 2023, Dennis held the position of Executive Medical Director at American Physician Partners, overseeing a large physician practice across numerous hospitals. As Co-Founder and CEO of MyDocReplay from 2016 to 2021, Dennis developed a secure platform for sharing medical discharge instructions. Additionally, Dennis has held key leadership roles at TeamHealth and IPC Healthcare, specializing in acute services and medical innovation. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Medicine from Albany Medical College, a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin, and advanced fellowship training in Hospitalist Medicine Leadership. Dennis is recognized as a Fellow in Hospital Medicine by the Society of Hospital Medicine.
