Rafael Ortiz Ramón

Rafael Ortiz Ramón is an experienced professional in the fields of business intelligence and biomedical engineering. Currently serving as a Desarrollador Business Intelligence at Hospital de Manises since February 2019 and as a Profesor colaborador at VIU - Universidad Internacional de Valencia since February 2020, Rafael contributes to the design and development of business intelligence solutions and oversees master's theses in biomedical engineering. Prior experience includes working as a Técnico Superior de Investigación at Universitat Politècnica de València, focusing on using machine learning for analyzing biomarkers of brain injuries and neurodegenerative diseases. Additional roles include software development for neuron detection with collaborations at prestigious institutions like King's College London and The University of Edinburgh, where Rafael analyzed MRI images to identify biomarkers for ischemic stroke.
