Helen Jorgensen, LEED®AP, has extensive experience in procurement and purchasing, with roles at top companies such as Host Hotels & Resorts, The Walt Disney Company, Telecommunications Techniques Corporation, and Marriott International. At Host Hotels & Resorts, they served as Vice President of Design and Procurement, leading strategic procurement initiatives and design management. At The Walt Disney Company, they were a Manager, Strategic Sourcing, managing a national spend of $225 million and implementing policy and process improvements. At Telecommunications Techniques Corporation, they were a Manufacturing Division Purchasing Supervisor, strategically sourcing over $20 million in contracts. At Marriott International, they served as a Commodity Group Supervisor, overseeing key categories of architectural lighting, electronic equipment, and furnishings for hotel and restaurant projects.
Helen Jorgensen, LEED®AP, completed a Graduate Certificate of Administrative Management from Harvard University in 1987. Helen also holds a BS in Business Administration and Mass Communications from Towson University. In 2008, they obtained the LEED Accredited Professional certification from the Green Building Commissioning Certification Institute. Additionally, in 1987, they received the Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) certification from the Institute of Supply Management.
