Joan Arensman

Joan Arensman is an experienced product leader currently serving as the interim Chief Product Officer at Hostelworld Group since March 2025. Previously, Joan held multiple roles at Booking.com from November 2017 to December 2024, including Senior Director of Product and Director of Product. Prior to that, Joan worked at Google from July 2010 to October 2017, where positions included Senior Product Manager and Global Search Lead. Additional experience includes serving as an Associate at McKinsey & Company from August 2008 to June 2010 and as a Political Secretary at VVD from August 2006 to July 2008. Joan holds a Master's degree in History of International Relations from Utrecht University and completed certificates in Microeconomics and Macroeconomics at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
